It beautifully illustrates the combined inner feelings of being smaller or underdeveloped and everybodyʼs able to see it. It is due to delusional concepts such as this that the patientʼs development is often severely stagnated. And although very well compensated he does not come to full bloom as a person until we give the much needed similimum.

A Case of Stomach Cancer
Through a case of advanced stomach cancer I would like to illustrate the different paths of healing. While healing is often defined as the disappearance of pathology, it is, the author suggests seeing healing as learning the lessons that are presented through the symptoms and pathology. Not only is this a more loving perception of health and life but it also doesnʼt necessarily mean that the pathology has to disappear. In the presented case, while the patient was going through a very profound healing process his pathology remained and even progressed.

An eight-year-old boy came to the practice in the parentsʼ last hope to avoid his being sent away to a special school. He seemed to have identified himself too much with the Central Bearded Dragon (Pogona) and had started acting in a reptile-like manner.
